Recent scientific studies confirm the medical, health and well-being results of being in nature. Two practitioners will share their earth-based wellness practices. Hana Lee Goldin, is a certified forest therapy guide and founder of The Sacred Wilds. She conducts forest bathing experiences at the UC Botanical Garden, celebrating the restorative power of nature. Pete Guinossa (E-RYT), a well-loved bay area yoga instructor, offers a wide range of yoga adventures, including yoga wilderness retreats. Drawing from his years as a scientist, Pete approaches practice with curiosity and wonder, helping students connect with their hearts. We’ll round out the evening with Bob Solitar, hiking committee chairman of the Sierra Club. He will offer his experiences and direct us to many local hiking experiences appropriate to all levels.
